Well I finally got my camera back after leaving it behind in Florida (at Bob's place) - he kindly posted it to me at Dave's place in St.Augustine.
Dave is a new friend of mine that I met at the Emini Academy bootcamp in Austin, Texas - the primary 'excuse' for this trip around the Southern States of America. He invited us to visit him in St Augustine, Florida, and as we were scheduled to drive very close during our planned itinerary we decided to take him up on his offer.
As we discovered when Dave showed us around the town St.Augustine is a lovely place, complete with a quaint water-front area, and a historic fort.
I must say that Dave had a fantastic view from his outdoor patio - check this out!!
Seriously - that is the view he gets from his front lawn....
Anyway, thanks Dave for being a great host, and helping me get my camera back!!
